We’re absolutely thrilled to kick off our 2026 monthly Saturday concert series at Highams Park Jazz Club with the legendary guitarist Jim Mullen and his fantastic band. Joining him are the superb Ross Stanley on organ and the dynamic Steve Brown on drums – three top-class musicians bringing energy, groove and creativity to the stage. This promises to be a night of swinging, soulful jazz you won’t want to miss.
Jim Mullen is a true icon of the guitar, renowned for his warm tone, impeccable sense of swing and inventive improvisation. With a career spanning decades, he has played with some of the biggest names in jazz and continues to captivate audiences with his virtuosity and charm.
Supporting him are two outstanding players: Ross Stanley, a master of the Hammond organ, celebrated for his deep grooves and rich harmonic sense; and Steve Brown, a drummer with tremendous feel and energy, whose playing always lifts the music and keeps the groove flowing.
It promises to be a memorable evening of live jazz in the welcoming and relaxed setting of Highams Park Jazz Club. Come along, enjoy a drink, and experience three musicians at the top of their game.
