Jam Session feat. Benet McLean

Exciting News: Benet McLean, the jazz violin virtuoso, is set to grace the stage at Highams Park Jazz Club once again, following his impressive 2023 performance. Known for his unique artistry and brilliant technique, Benet’s return promises another captivating evening.

As both a renowned violinist and pianist, Benet stands out in British jazz for his boundary-pushing exploration of genres. Influenced by bebop greats, his recent focus on the violin has resulted in the highly acclaimed solo album “Green Park,” released in November 2023.

His versatility is evident in collaborations with an array of artists, including Partikel, Laura Mvula, Mahalia, Soweto Kinch, Binker Golding, Julian Joseph, Steve Williamson, Jean Toussaint, Sir Simon Rattle, Kevin Haynes (see album “Ori Ire”), Maxi Jazz (Faithless), and Loose Tubes.
