Trevor Mires, a leading performer and arranger, teaches jazz trombone at prestigious institutions. Over the past decade, he’s been a key figure in London’s music scene, working with Sir Tom Jones, Incognito, Noel Gallagher, and touring with jazz star Randy Brecker. Trevor’s extensive performing credits include collaborations with George Benson, Chaka Khan, Lemar, Beverley Knight, Joss Stone, Gloria Gaynor, Oscar Peterson, Michael Buble, Westlife, Radiohead, Alexander O’Neal, Jamiroquai, James Morrison, Sam Rivers Big Band, and more.

As a solo trombonist, Trevor is part of the Michel Legrand Big Band and has recorded with jazz legends like Pat Metheny, Toots Thielemans, and David Sanborn. Balancing commercial and creative projects, he’s been involved in TV and film recordings, toured with Jamiroquai, and worked with artists like Alicia Keys and Mark Ronson.
